DEPth Compositing

  • By rendering the depth (.dep) info from Animation Master, it is possible to use Adobe Premiere to blur the objects in the scene according to the distance from the camera, during compositing.
  • This gives you better control and is quicker than using A:M's depth-of-field blurring.
  • You'll also need Myles' DEP to TGA converter as A:M's .dep file is not readable by Adobe Photoshop.
  • Bryce also outputs the distance mask, so you can do the same distance blurring effect.
